Twilio is now a BizSpark Network Partner

BizSpark_NetworkPartner We’re always looking for more ways to help out developers and startups so when Microsoft approached us about becoming a BizSpark network partner, we jumped at the opportunity. If you’re a Twilio customer using Microsoft technologies and you qualify for BizSpark, we can sponsor you for membership in the program. Read on for more details about the program and how to get started.

What is BizSpark?

BizSpark is Microsoft’s early-stage startup accelerator program. Members are entitled to a wide range of benefits including special offers from hosting companies and network partners, technical support, and visibility throughout the BizSpark network. Members also have access to “current full-featured Microsoft development tools, platform technologies, and production licenses of server products (including Windows Azure Platform).”

What is a BizSpark Network Partner?

Network Partners are “entrepreneurial community organizations that support startups through programs, mentoring, networking, business advice, or financial and legal assistance.” As a Network Partner, Twilio is now able to sponsor startups that want to take part in the program.

How do I join?

To qualify for BizSpark, Microsoft requires that your company has annual revenue under $1 million and has been in business less than three years. There is no cost to join, only a $100 fee at the completion of the 3-year program. More details can be found here. If you qualify and would like Twilio to sponsor you, email help@twilio.com and make sure to mention BizSpark and we’ll begin the sponsorship process.

Already a BizSpark member?

If you’re already a member of BizSpark, we’ve got a special offer for you. Email help@twilio.com with your BizSpark ID number and your Twilio AccountSid to receive the offer.
