The problem this project solves is:
The popularity of mobile phones has significantly decreased the amount of "home phones" in American households. As a result, children must rely on their parent's mobile phones for communication with other loved ones. Mobile phones are often complicated, expensive, and already in use.
And it solves it by:
Bumble allows children of all ages to initiate phone calls over a safe platform using a computer. The dialing interface was designed especially for children and the powerful administrative tools allow parents to specify exactly who their child can call.
Calls can be initiated through a web browser, or via native apps available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
