Call In Studio is a call-in platform designed for Internet and radio show producers, allowing them to accept, manage and screen calls for their show(s) in an easy-to-use, Web based interface.
The problem this project solves is: Radio stations spend thousands of dollars on equipment and software in order to accept calls for their programming. Such an investment and on-going cost is out of reach for most podcasters or even smaller radio stations, and existing Internet-based phone conferencing systems are not designed specifically for a call-in show environment. And it solves it by: Call In Studio eliminated the need for any fancy telephone or radio station equipment. Using Twilio, all this is managed in the cloud, which allows anyone to host a call-in show with their own local or toll-free phone number, screen calls, etc., just like a regular radio station would--but makes it affordable for even the casual hobbyist (customers pay only for the time they use). The application is designed specifically for a call-in show environment and easily plugs into any show's existing setup.
