Can I use my Twilio number for SMS?
Yes, if your phone number is SMS-enabled, it can send and receive domestic SMS messages. You can see which countries are SMS-enabled by visiting our FAQ article about the capabilities of the types of numbers Twilio provides.
At the moment, only Twilio phone numbers from the United States and Canada can be used to send SMS messages internationally.
