Does Twilio support concatenated SMS messages or messages over 160 characters?
For outgoing messages, Twilio will reject SMS messages greater than 160 characters, so we recommend breaking up long messages. Your messages might arrive at the recipient’s device in a different order than what you sent, so it’s a good idea to append a page reference following each (for example 1/3, 2/3).
For incoming messages that are greater than 160 characters, the sending carrier will break up the message behind the scenes before sending them to us, so Twilio will treat them as separate messages and deliver them to your application in the order we receive them.
