TechStars + Twilio Rolls On, A Couple Ideas To Get You Started

Our TechStars + Twilio “Two for One” contest enters its second week and we’ve already started to see some great integrations being built. Here are a couple examples of the APIs a few TechStars companies offer that you could integrate with Twilio for your entry.

statsmixStatsMix is a powerful platform that allows people to aggregate metrics across services into dashboards. They recently blogged some ideas about how to integrate Twilio with their service:

If you’re integrating with Twilio, you’ll need to measure all your activity from their API. While Twilio provides some basic tools, StatsMix enhances this reporting and allows you to track anything within your application. You can then add this data to dashboards and start to correlate it with all your other important business metrics.

Here are some examples of how the StatsMix API could be used to track metrics from Twilio:

  • Total calls placed
  • Call failures
  • Total SMS volume
  • Average call duration
  • Total call cost

Check out the StatsMix developer portal for more information on how to get started with their API.

rezoraRezora is a digital marketing system built specifically for the real estate industry. They provide templates for newsletters, automatic inclusion of MLS listings into mailings and complete campaign reporting.

Rezora has a RESTful API with complete documentation for creating and managing Rezora account resources, such as agents, contacts, and distribution lists.

Real estate and call tracking go hand in hand. How could you integrate detailed call metrics or custom phone numbers to help real estate agents get the most out of their online marketing campaigns?

Around Boulder, CO (where I’m based) when people ask me what Twilio is I say, “Twilio for email.” SendGrid provides more than just APIs for sending and receiving email though. They’re experts on maximizing deliverability, a challenging prospect in the current environment.

In “API Recipe: Pinch of Twilio + Dash of SendGrid” the SendGrid crew gives a good overview of the APIs they have to integrate with:

twilio-sg-300x157Of course, it’s a no brainer that you should use a SendGrid API if you really want to win. And, as you know we have plenty to choose from:
Event API
Parse API
