# 10003: Incoming call rejected due to inactive account

## Description

This error occurs when an incoming call reaches your Twilio application, but the call is not answered because the project was inactive at the time.

### Possible causes

* Your project balance reached zero or a negative amount, which suspended the project.
* The subaccount that owns the phone number was suspended.
* The project was suspended because of a Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy violation.

### Possible solutions

* Check your Twilio project balance. Add funds if the balance is zero or negative.
* If you recently added funds, allow 5 to 10 minutes for reactivation. Then sign out and sign back in to refresh Console if the project still appears suspended.
* Set a recharge or balance notification trigger to help prevent future suspensions.
* Contact Twilio Support if you believe the project was suspended for a compliance reason or you are not sure why the project is inactive.
