# 17558: Corrupted media

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

Twilio failed to transcribe audio because the media file is corrupted and cannot be decoded. The transcription has been marked as `failed`.

### Possible causes

* The file was corrupted during transfer.
* The upload was incomplete.
* The file has an encoding error.

### Possible solutions

* Verify that the media file is not corrupted, or provide a different source recording.
