# 17580: Status callback response error

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: WARNING

## Description

Twilio attempted to deliver a transcription status event to the configured callback URL and received an HTTP error response. The transcription itself is unaffected; only the notification failed.

### Possible causes

* The configured callback URL is incorrect or no longer serves the endpoint.
* Your application returned an error while handling the webhook.
* Your application was unavailable when Twilio delivered the event.
* Twilio couldn't establish a connection to the callback URL (for example, a firewall blocked it or the server was down).

Twilio retries a `5xx` response and a `408`, `425` or `429` response up to three times before reporting this error. Other `4xx` responses are not retried.

### Possible solutions

* Confirm that `transcriptionStatusCallback` points at the correct URL.
* Ensure your endpoint responds with an HTTP 2xx status code.
* Check your application logs for errors raised while handling the request.
* Allow Twilio's IP addresses through your firewall.
