# 30502: Political messaging must provide a Campaign Verify token

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

The submission is missing a required Campaign Verify token. This error identifies an omitted token; a supplied token that is invalid, unverifiable, or mismatched is covered by [30501](/docs/api/errors/30501).

### Possible causes

* A political candidate or political action committee (PAC) submitted without a Campaign Verify token.
* The Campaign Verify token field was left blank or omitted from the submission.

### Possible solutions

* Register at campaignverify.org to obtain a Campaign Verify token.
* Ensure the token is associated with the same political entity listed in the submission.
* Make sure the token was issued for Toll-Free messaging; tokens for Short Code, 10DLC, or RCS cannot be used.
* Set the use case to Political, add the token to the submission, and resubmit.
