Changes:

  • Log in with your company’s name (set in the Twilio console) instead of an unfairly long and complicated realm SID
  • When you’re finished speaking with a customer, close a conversation by swiping left from the list of conversations (or clicking the icon at the top right within a conversation)

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed: you’ll now see the correct number of unread messages when there are multiple within a conversation
  • Fixed: more consistent display of timestamps (instead of 15:55 AND 3:55, you’ll just see one or the other, depending on your device’s settings)
  • Fixed: you can now view conversation participant details as soon as a new message comes in, without having to reload the app

  • Inbound Routing feature! App users now can set their availability status which will tell if a new conversation can be routed to him or not. See Frontline docs for details on how to configure Inbound Routing, as it will require some breaking changes in Conversations API webhooks subscriptions
  • When a mobile user will initiate a new conversation the App will set conversation avatar based on a customer avatar

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug with pagination in customers list. Duplicate customers wont cause animation and performance problems
  • Fixed a bug when expired App session caused infinite loading

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug when a message was not visible in the app after clicking on a push notification
  • Fixed a bug when channel type sometimes was not visible
  • Fixed an issue when a message was displayed as "sending" while it was already delivered
  • Long customer and conversation names will be handled better to prevent visual issues
  • In case if a conversation with a customer was not created user wont see anymore an empty conversation in his list
  • Unread messages counter feature was made more stable and faster. Users wont see their own messages marked as unread, counter will be synced properly across multiple devices, messages wont appear as unread while they were already read

iOS

  • User wont receive push notifications anymore after he signed out

Android

  • Fixed a bug when an image sometimes was not loading
