Twilio IoT is now part of KORE

Twilio's IoT business unit ("Twilio IoT") has been acquired by KORE(link takes you to an external page) as of June 1, 2023. This was originally announced(link takes you to an external page) in March.

Don't worry though! Until comparable experiences are available through KORE, you will continue to use the Twilio Console and APIs to order SIM hardware and manage your devices and connectivity just like before. Additionally, we plan to continue to release new features, accessible through Twilio, while we transition our team and infrastructure to KORE.

As we get closer to enabling you to manage your Super SIMs, Programmable Wireless SIMs, Microvisor devices, Programmable Asset Trackers, and more through KORE's Console and APIs, we'll send out announcements so you can begin planning any changes you need to make.

We're excited to see what we can all build together.

If you have any questions, please contact your IoT sales specialist, Twilio account representative, or contact customer support.

Please continue to refer to the existing Twilio IoT pricing(link takes you to an external page) pages for our self-service pricing. Volume pricing is available if you talk to sales.

Additionally, you can learn more about how pricing and billing works for Super SIM here.

Self-Service Limitations

While the members of the IoT business unit and the related services transition over to KORE, some IoT product functionality has been limited for users that do not have a contract for services in place or are actively engaging with our sales team. If you find your experience with our IoT products too restricted and you need to be able to order more SIMs or use the limited features to their fullest, you can talk to sales and the limits can be lifted.
