Twilio Community Terms of Use

This Twilio Community Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) describes the rules that apply to any party (“User”) that creates a Twilio Community account or otherwise accesses or uses the Twilio Community website at https://community.twilio.com (collectively, “Twilio Community”). These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time upon reasonable notice, which may be provided by posting an updated version of these Terms of Use at https://www.twilio.com/legal/community-tos.

If you or any user under your account violate the Prohibited Activities or Inappropriate Content paragraphs below, Twilio may suspend your Twilio Community account immediately without notice. For any other violation of these Terms of Use, Twilio will notify you via email of such violation. You will have seventy-two (72) hours after the date of that email notification to remedy the violation. If you fail to remedy the violation, Twilio may immediately suspend your Twilio Community account. Twilio may also, in its sole discretion, delete your Twilio Community account if it has been suspended for a prolonged period of time or remove or delete any content that you publish via your Twilio Community account that violates these Terms of Use.

Prohibited Activities. Do not use Twilio Community to engage in or encourage any activity that is illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, Inappropriate, objectionable, unwanted, confirmed to be criminal misinformation, poses a threat to the public or harmful to Twilio’s business operations or reputation, or violates applicable laws or regulations or the rights of others.

Inappropriate Content. Do not use Twilio Community to publish content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, unwanted, irrelevant, infringing, inappropriate, objectionable, sexually explicit or pornographic, confirmed to be criminal misinformation, or otherwise poses a threat to the public. This prohibition includes use of Twilio Community by a hate group or content or communications that originate from a hate group or are exploitative, abusive, or that constitute hate speech.

Marketing and Revenue Generation. Do not use Twilio Community for marketing purposes or to generate revenue for your products, services, or business.

Impersonation and Privacy. Do not create a false identity, attempt to mislead others as to your identity or impersonate another individual or user on Twilio Community or post personally identifying information of another individual or user on Twilio Community without such individual’s or user’s prior consent.

Unauthorized Access. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Twilio Community.

Automatic or Programmatic Account Registration. Do not use automated or programmatic means, such as bots, to register for Twilio Community accounts.
