Welcome to TwilioQuest Tumult 2021, a semester long, global, inter-university TwilioQuest competition!
Register to lead your school’s team, recruit players, and collect XP to make your way to the top of the leaderboard. The competition starts on Monday, August 23rd 2021, and will end on Friday, December 10th 2021.

TwilioQuest is a PC role-playing game inspired by classics of the 16-bit era. As a TwilioQuest “Operator” your mission is to explore and safeguard the wild frontier of The Cloud, building new tools and technologies destined to touch billions of lives. Millions of developers around the world have used Twilio to unlock the magic of communications to improve any human experience. Twilio powers the future of business communications. Enabling phones, VoIP, and messaging to be embedded into web, desktop, and mobile software.
As the leader of your team, you will be responsible for recruiting participants from your school. There will be a Discord channel which you can join to meet other players from around the world!
The competition starts on Monday, August 23rd 2021, and will end on Friday, December 10th 2021.
We will send you all the details via email once you’ve registered to participate, but the tl;dr is that as the leader of your team, you’ll create a team in the TwilioQuest console, and will have a join-code to share with your team.
If this is the case, we will let you know, and we will share the join-code with you so you can join your school's team!
The winners be announced on Friday, December 10th 2021.
The leader of the winning 3 teams will receive a swag box to distribute to the members of their team! You will also be invited to join the Twilio Field Operator Program.
