Visualization and the physical world

With the rise of cheap and open hardware, ubiquitous network connectivity, and more and more power being packed into our computers and web browsers, there are lots of opportunities to visualize the real world and have the real world visualize our plentiful data. Armed with plenty of tiny computers, blinking lights, and colorful charts, we will show you what the bridge between the hardware and the physical world and data visualization might look like. This will include exploring ways to physically visualize our space by tracking and displaying wi-fi signals, enabling community-controlled lighting, and visualizing tweets.
