Delivery

Email Deliverability. A confirmation that an end recipient received the email that the sender had sent.

When a receiving email server accepts a request of a sent email, an email system records a delivery.

If the receiving email server marks an email message as delivered, the ISP didn't defer the message.

This doesn't guarantee that the message reached the recipient's inbox. Spam filters might still route the accepted email message to a spam folder.
