30437: Toll Free verification rejection - Edit time expired
MESSAGING
ERROR
This error occurs when a rejected toll-free verification is not corrected and resubmitted within the seven-day edit window. After that window expires, the toll-free number remains Restricted. A later resubmission is handled like a new verification instead of a priority resubmission.
As of January 31, 2024, unverified Toll-Free numbers are blocked from sending messages to the United States and Canada until verification is approved. (help.twilio.com)
- You did not update and resubmit the rejected verification within seven days of the rejection.
- The
editExpirationtimestamp for the rejected verification passed before you completed your corrections. - You waited until after the priority resubmission window expired to submit corrected business or compliance information.
- Review the rejection details for the toll-free number in Console under Regulatory Information before you resubmit.
- If you use the API, check
edit_allowed,edit_expiration, andrejection_reasonson the verification record so you can determine whether to edit the existing request or create a new one. - Correct the rejected verification details and resubmit the request with complete and accurate business, website, use case, opt-in, and sample message information.
- If the seven-day window has already expired, submit the corrected verification anyway. It will be processed in the standard queue instead of the priority queue. If the request is no longer editable through the API, create a new verification request.
