ERROR

Your LOA was rejected because the signer is not listed as an active director or officer on the Business Registration Extract. Have an authorized officer sign it.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • The person who signed the LOA is a senior employee such as a general manager, legal counsel, or finance director who is not formally listed as a director or officer in the company registry.
  • The LOA was signed by a director who has since resigned and been removed from the registry.
  • The signer is listed on a related entity's registry but not on the specific registering entity's extract.
  • The extract submitted is outdated and does not reflect the current officer list.
  • The name on the LOA signature does not exactly match the name as it appears on the extract.
  • Identify a person unambiguously listed as an active director or officer on the most current Business Registration Extract and have them re-sign the LOA.
  • Verify the signer's status directly in the relevant national business registry — do not rely on internal titles alone.
  • Obtain a current Business Registration Extract to confirm who is presently listed as an active officer.
  • Ensure the signer's full legal name on the LOA matches exactly how their name appears in the registry entry, including all surnames and initials.
  • If the only individuals with officer status are unavailable, consider filing an updated officer appointment with the registry.
  • Contact trusthub-verify@twilio.com with documentation of the signer's officer status (such as a board resolution or certificate of incumbency) if there is a discrepancy.
