Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • One or more address fields do not form a valid postal address.
  • The postal_code does not match the submitted street, city or locality, or region.
  • The street, city or locality, or region contains invalid or misspelled values.
  • For Sole Proprietor registrations, the address is not a valid US or Canadian address.
  • The address information stored in the associated customer profile or supporting document does not match the corrected values you intended to submit.
  • Review the address connected to the brand registration and correct any typos, invalid abbreviations, or mismatched values.
  • Make sure street, city or locality, region, postal_code, and iso_country describe a real deliverable address.
  • If you are registering a Sole Proprietor brand, use a valid US or Canadian address.
  • Fetch the failed brand and review the errors array or failure_reason details so you can identify which address field needs correction.
  • If you use the Console, edit the customer profile or supporting address information, delete the failed brand, and submit the brand again with the corrected address.
  • If you use the API, update the associated customer profile or Trust Bundle first, then call the BrandRegistration update endpoint to resubmit the failed brand.
