30866: Verification rejection - Disallowed: Stock Alerts/Platforms
MESSAGING
ERROR
Twilio rejected your verification request because the submission matched the disallowed stock alerts or stock platforms category. During review, Twilio evaluates the business using the number, the messaging use case, sample messages, website presence, opt-in method, and associated privacy policy and terms.
- Your submission identified the business or messaging program as stock alerts, stock trading, investing, or a similar high-risk financial service use case.
- Your business appears to operate primarily in stocks, investing, or cryptocurrency, which isn't eligible for verification for promotional or alerting traffic.
- Your use case summary, sample messages, website, or opt-in flow suggested prohibited stock alert or platform messaging instead of an eligible 2FA or transactional use case.
- If the submission was categorized incorrectly, contact Support and provide additional information that clearly explains your business, your actual messaging use case, and how recipients opt in.
- If your business is a stock or investing platform, limit messaging to 2FA or transactional traffic only. Update your use case summary, sample messages, and website details so they reflect that use case accurately.
- Review your verification details before submitting again. Make sure your website, opt-in materials, privacy policy, terms, and sample messages all align with the messaging program you want approved.
- If your request is eligible for correction, update it from the Regulatory Information tab for the phone number and resubmit it within the allowed window. If it isn't eligible for resubmission, only create a new verification request after you have materially corrected the use case and supporting information.
