30868: Verification rejection - Disallowed: Risk Investment/Get Rich Quick Schemes
MESSAGING
ERROR
Twilio rejected your verification submission because the business or messaging program was identified as a disallowed get rich quick or risk investment use case. During review, Twilio evaluates the business using the number, the stated messaging use case, sample messages, web presence, consent flow, and related privacy policy and terms.
- Your submission described a forbidden get rich quick scheme, such as a risk investment opportunity, pyramid scheme, mystery shopping program, or deceptive work-from-home offer.
- The business itself falls into a forbidden category for SMS and MMS in the United States and Canada, even if the sample messages were limited or transactional.
- Your website, opt-in flow, or supporting details suggested minimal effort for maximum or guaranteed financial gain, which isn't permitted on carrier routes.
- Review your business model, website, opt-in flow, and sample messages to confirm that your use case isn't a forbidden get rich quick scheme.
- If your business or messaging program was misclassified, contact Support and provide additional information that clearly explains your use case, consent flow, website context, and sample content.
- If your use case does fall into this forbidden category, do not continue using SMS for that traffic. Use a permitted communication channel or change the messaging program so it aligns with Twilio's messaging policies.
