420028: Knowledge source gateway timeout

The web crawler received a 504 Gateway Timeout response when attempting to access the target URL during knowledge ingestion. The gateway or proxy server did not receive a timely response from an upstream server.

• The upstream server is responding too slowly
• Network latency between the gateway and upstream server
• The target site's backend services are overloaded or slow
• Database queries or processing taking too long
• Network connectivity issues in the target site's infrastructure

• Verify the target URL loads within 30 seconds in a web browser
• Check if the target site is experiencing performance degradation or high load
• If the timeout is temporary, the crawler will retry on the next scheduled crawl
• For consistently slow URLs, consider reducing crawl depth to limit processing
• Contact the target site administrator if timeouts persist
• Consider downloading the content manually and uploading as files if the issue continues
• Review the knowledge source error details in the Twilio Console
