17555: Media duration exceeds maximum (8 hours)

Twilio could not transcribe the recording because its duration is longer than eight hours, which is the maximum length supported by batch transcription. The transcription is marked as failed.

• The audio file is longer than eight hours.

• Split the source media into segments shorter than eight hours (for example, 7:59:59 or less) and transcribe each segment separately.
• Verify the duration of your media file before you start a transcription job to avoid this error.
