30101: Domain is unverified
MESSAGING
ERROR
This error occurs when you try to use a Link Shortening domain that has not been verified in your Twilio Organization. Before you can use a domain or subdomain for Link Shortening, you must own it, add it to your Organization, and complete domain verification in Twilio Admin. The Twilio Account and Messaging Service that use the domain must also belong to that same Organization.
- You added the domain to your Organization, but you have not completed domain verification in Twilio Admin.
- You started DNS or HTML verification, but the verification record or file is missing, incorrect, or not yet reachable. If you use DNS verification, propagation can take up to 72 hours before the domain is marked verified.
- The request uses the wrong Domain SID, or it references a domain that is not the verified Link Shortening domain you intended to use.
- The Messaging Service or Twilio Account you are using is not in the same Twilio Organization as the verified Link Shortening domain.
- Open Twilio Admin, add the domain to your Organization, and complete verification before using it with Link Shortening. You can verify the domain by DNS or by uploading the verification HTML file.
- If you use DNS verification, confirm that the verification record is published correctly, then allow time for DNS propagation and verify the domain again.
- Confirm that the Domain SID in your request matches the verified domain you want to use for Link Shortening. Then re-associate that domain with the correct Messaging Service if needed.
- Make sure the Twilio Account that owns your Messaging Service has been added to the same Twilio Organization as the verified domain. If it has not, add the Account to the Organization or use a domain that is verified in that Organization.
