30024: Numeric Sender ID Not Provisioned on Carrier
MESSAGING
ERROR
This error means the destination carrier requires a pre-registered numeric sender and the sender you used isn't provisioned on that carrier. You can also see this error while a newly registered sender is still being provisioned for production traffic.
- The numeric sender hasn't finished carrier provisioning.
- You recently registered a US A2P 10DLC number and carrier provisioning for the associated Campaign is still in progress.
- Your short code isn't fully provisioned for production traffic, or the carrier disabled it because of cancellation or compliance issues.
- The destination number recently ported to a new carrier and routing updates haven't fully completed.
- Your toll-free number isn't fully provisioned for production traffic, or toll-free verification hasn't been completed and approved for US or Canada messaging.
- The destination number isn't provisioned to receive SMS messages.
- Confirm which sender type you are using for that destination and complete any required registration or verification before sending production traffic.
- If you are sending with a US 10DLC number, verify that your Brand and Campaign registration are complete and allow time for carrier provisioning to finish.
- If you are sending with a toll-free number to the United States or Canada, complete toll-free verification and wait until the number shows
Verifiedbefore sending production traffic. - If you are sending with a short code, confirm that the short code is fully provisioned and approved for your intended use case. See Short Code Setup and Provisioning for details.
- If you send to destinations that require registered senders, configure a default Sender ID so Twilio can replace a non-matching
Fromvalue with a compliant registered sender. - If the destination number recently ported to a new carrier, retry after the port completes and carrier routing updates settle.
- If you continue to see 30024, collect at least three Message SIDs with
undeliveredstatus and contact Support for a provisioning review.
