KYC in Branded Comms depends on Twilio regulatory APIs. This error occurs when Twilio can't communicate with the Regulatory Identification API during that workflow.
- A KYC step in your Branded Comms workflow required a call to the Regulatory Identification API, and that communication failed.
- A temporary internal service issue interrupted the regulatory identification request.
- Retry the request after a short wait.
- If you are onboarding through a Trust Hub workflow, submit the KYC step again after the retry window. Trust Hub uses KYC verification to confirm customer identity for advanced communications services.
- If the error continues, contact Support for help with the failed KYC or branded onboarding request.
