Before you can use a non-US phone number, you must submit a compliance registration before buying a number and provisioning it. For details, see the country-specific phone number regulations(link takes you to an external page). Regulatory compliance registrations aren't required for US phone numbers, but additional compliance requirements for messaging customers may apply.

To submit a compliance registration, follow the steps on how to create a registration for a regulatory compliance program in Trust Hub.
