Secondary compliance profiles

(information)

Info

Customer profiles have been rebranded to Compliance profiles. The Trust Hub API has not changed. All API endpoints, parameter names, and resource identifiers (such as CustomerProfileSid) remain the same.

A secondary compliance profile is used when you operate or register services on behalf of a brand or entity that is different from the business identified in your primary compliance profile. It allows you to link that brand or entity to your main account and provide separate supporting information.

Create a secondary profile when the brand or entity you want to register is different from the business that owns and manages your Twilio account.

You must have an approved primary business compliance profile before you can create a secondary compliance profile.

Create a secondary compliance profile

  1. Navigate to Products & Services > Trust Hub > Profiles(link takes you to an external page) > Secondary profiles.
  2. Click Add secondary profile.
  3. In the General information section, enter the business name and website URL.
  4. In the Business information section, enter the:
    • Business identity
    • Business type
    • Business industry
    • Registration ID type and number
    • Operating regions
  5. In the Authorized representative sections, provide contact details for two authorized representatives who can confirm this business and its use case.
  6. In the Address section, enter the physical address for this business.
  7. Upload supporting documentation to verify the business identity and address.
  8. In the Notification settings section, choose how you want to receive notifications when your profile is approved or rejected: by email or through a status callback webhook.
  9. Review and submit.

After you submit, Twilio evaluates your secondary compliance profile.

If all required information is provided, your profile moves to In Review status and can no longer be edited.

If any information is missing or incorrect, Twilio immediately rejects the profile and sets its status to Twilio Rejected. You can edit your information and resubmit based on the rejection reasons displayed in the Console.

Once Twilio verifies your information, your profile status changes to Twilio Approved and your secondary compliance profile is active.

Approval of a compliance profile indicates that the information provided meets Twilio's requirements. It doesn't constitute a determination or certification of compliance with applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
