Voice Insights (Beta)

Voice Insights provides call quality analytics for Twilio calls. Insights is available for WebRTC calls made using Twilio Client Javascript SDK and using the Programmable Voice APIs. You can switch on Insights for either one or both Client and Carrier/SIP calls for end-to-end quality monitoring.

With Voice Insights for Carrier/SIP calls, you can see the network metrics, and SIP events for each call connected to Twilio. Insights for Carriers/SIP also provides performance metrics such as who hung up the call and connect time along with the carrier name. Carrier/SIP Insights data is available for 30 days after enabling Insights. The data is available to view in Twilio Console.

With Voice Insights for Twilio Client, you can react to call quality events both in your Twilio Client JavaScript code, and retrieve historical call quality data via REST API. Voice Insights customers can also access advanced visualizations and reporting directly within the Twilio Console. REST API data is available for Twilio Client calls made using JS 1.3 or later within last 30 days. The REST API provides information on state-change events, network metrics, audio levels, and meta-data on the environment in which the call was made. This data is available for each call, and aggregated reports can be grouped by various aspects for your primary account or subaccounts.
