No. Twilio Video is fully supported and under active development. In October 2024, Twilio reversed an earlier end-of-life announcement and committed to ongoing investment in Video as a standalone product. Twilio Video continues to accept new customers and ship new features.

Twilio Video provides SDKs for the following main platforms:
- JavaScript — supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Samsung Internet on desktop and mobile
- Android — supports Android API level 25 and above
- iOS — supports iOS 14.0 and above
There is also a Twilio maintained open-source React Native Video SDK.

Twilio Video is priced per participant minute with no upfront commitments or minimum fees. You only pay for the time participants spend connected to a Video Room. There are additional charges for optional features such as recordings, compositions, transcriptions, and phone dial-in/dial-out.

A participant minute is the unit of billing for Twilio Video. One participant minute is counted for each minute (or partial minute) that a participant is connected to a Video Room. For example, if 4 participants are in a room for 10 minutes, that counts as 40 participant minutes.
Yes. Twilio Video supports all three:
- Screen sharing — participants can share their screen as a video track. To learn more, see Share a participant's screen.
- Recordings — record individual tracks or compose entire Group Rooms. Recordings can be stored in Twilio's cloud or your own external storage with encryption support. To learn more, see Understanding Recordings and Compositions.

Yes. Twilio Video is HIPAA eligible, and Twilio can sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with covered entities.
