We’re very excited to open up public beta for five new countries, expanding Twilio capabilities to more developers across the world. Starting today, developers can apply to join the Global Beta program for Twilio Voice in The Czech Republic, Greece, Israel, Romania and Switzerland. In addition to these new countries, we are releasing geographic numbers in public beta in four countries: Belgium, Finland, Sweden and Spain. This means developers can purchase localized Twilio numbers in their city.
We do extensive legwork in each country to make sure the Twilio product you are using is the best experience possible. These new numbers are another step in our continued commitment to enable developers everywhere to build the next generation of communications.
How to access new beta numbers
On the Twilio Voice pricing page, type in the country you are interested in and click on “Let us know if you’re interested.”Over the coming weeks, we’ll be adding developers into the beta with access to numbers in these new countries.
For geographic numbers in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and Spain, just search for numbers as you normally would in “Buy a Number” in your developer dashboard.
As we continue to add Twilio capabilities to new countries, stay updated by signing up for the countries you’d like to be notified about.
Keeping pricing low and accessible to our community of developers is a priority for us at Twilio. Below outlines the pricing per number in each country. All inbound minutes to these Twilio phone numbers cost $0.01; outbound pricing will depend on the call destination, see more pricing here.
