It has been an exciting past couple weeks here at Twilio with the new API rolling out and yesterday’s lower pricing announcement. The Twilio community is as fired up as we’ve ever seen and we wanted to put together the ultimate prize for an aspiring developer or startup that uses Twilio to create a business.
For this contest, we’re giving away a trip to New York City to meet with the team at Union Square Ventures. Albert Wenger, Fred Wilson and Brad Burnham are the partners behind USV, one of the industry’s premier venture capital firms. Fred, Albert and Brad bring years of experience in the VC and technology industries and through USV have funded companies like Twitter, Foursquare, Tumblr, Etsy, Boxee, Stack Overflow, 10gen and many more.
The winner of the contest will be chosen by the USV partners based on which company they want to meet with in person. The winner will be given the opportunity to fly to New York to meet with USV. You’re free to use the meeting time to get advice, pitch your company or however else you would like.
In addition to winning the opportunity to have lunch with USV, Twilio will also provide the winner air transportion (from somewhere in North America, if you win outside that, we’ll work it out), lodging and transportation while in New York.
Three runners up will also be selected and awarded $250 in Twilio credit to jumpstart their venture. To enter the contest, submit your Twilio-powered business to the Contest Submission Form. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm Pacific Time on Monday, September 27th.
