Music Hackday may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep the party going all week. If you couldn’t make it out to New York this past weekend to join John Britton in the music madness, don’t fret because this week’s Twilio contest is all about recreating the music hackday experience sans the pizza, beer, and hacker company.

Use Twilio and your favorite music API (Soundcloud, Echonest, Last.fm, or any other music API) to make an insanely awesome music hack, and you’ll win yourself an Amazon Kindle 3G (for those long trips to gigs) and $100 in Twilio credit (enough for all your groupies)!

Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm PT on Sunday February 20th. Entries can be submitted here.

What’s This Developer Contest All About?

Each week we announce a new category to encourage developers to try Twilio for different use cases, industries, and integrations.  As a language-agnostic platform for cloud communications, we want to see developers from all backgrounds find success and solve problems with Twilio.  To fire your imagination and reward your efforts, we’ve run this developer contest for over a year.

How To Get Involved

Submissions to the contest can be submitted here.  If you need any help or want to bounce ideas off other Twilio developers, please join us on our forums or drop a note to help@twilio.com.
