Earlier this month, Twilio and Microsoft joined forces to make it easy for developers to power their Windows Azure apps with Twilio’s voice and messaging API. This partnership closely followed a series of educational blog posts about Twilio for .NET from developer evangelist Devin Rader. The response from the Microsoft community was eye-opening and we can’t wait to see what new ideas the community comes up with for using Twilio on Windows Azure.

To jump-start the creative process, on June 7th we’re joining Microsoft on stage as they launch a big update to Windows Azure, and we’d like to invite you! The first 25 people to RSVP here will grab a ticket to this exclusive event in San Francisco.

Microsoft’s Scott Guthrie, best known for developing ASP.NET, will share what’s new in Windows Azure and where their cloud platform is headed. Twilio CEO, Jeff Lawson, will then take the stage for some live coding action and fun announcements you won’t want to miss.

Meet Windows Azure starts Thursday, June 7th, at 1pm. Register here for live streaming.
