Changes to Automated IP Warmup Behavior

TL;DR: When using Automated IP Warmup, any email requests that exceed the hourly limit will no longer be sent using Sendgrid shared IP groups

Starting June 23, 2025, for customers using Automated IP Warmup on an IP Address, any email requests that exceed the hourly limit will no longer be sent using SendGrid shared IP groups. Customers will retain the ability to utilize Automated IP Warmup and send emails over the hourly limit with existing available IPs on their account. However, the warming IP will stop sending when the hourly limit is reached, but the other IPs on the account will continue to send emails.

If no existing IPs are available, mail will be retried and expire after 72 hours.
