New error codes provide clearer TFV and A2P 10DLC registration feedback launching September 15, 2026

On September 15, 2026, Twilio will add new error codes for Toll-Free Verification and A2P 10DLC campaign registration rejections.

What’s changing with TFV and A2P 10DLC error codes?

These new error codes replace less specific rejection feedback with more granular reasons that developers can use to identify what needs attention, update a registration, and resubmit with better context. More detailed feedback can help support faster resubmission and stronger first-pass approval.

For Toll-Free Verification, Twilio direct customers will see new 30XXX error codes in API responses.

A2P 10DLC customers will see the new error codes in the campaign registration errors field.

What do customers need to do?

Customers don’t need to make any changes to their registration workflows, but customers should review applications that branch on, parse, display, or alert on current error codes and update any affected integration logic with the new error codes.
