In support of our customers’ ongoing enablement of HIPAA compliance, Segment now allows you to encrypt sensitive user data when sending data to event stream, cloud-mode Destinations.

You’ll now have visibility to 100% of alerts across all Segment products/features into one UI/UX. Users can now quickly find any alert across Connections, Protocols, Functions, Unify,  Engage, etc., to configure the triggers and their respective notification methods from a centralized interface.

The Segment Public API enables customers to configure, manage, and scale their Segment implementations programmatically with a user-friendly API and more stable endpoints. As an upgrade to the existing Config API, customers can programmatically extend and duplicate existing schemas, instead of manual time-intensive processes in the UI.

The Public API addresses several customer issues concerning usability and speed while offering a broader range of configurations, better error-handling, and more interactive developer tooling.
