The London tech scene is exploding. It’s even better when two awesome accelerators merge to support the London DOers working on early stage startups.Techstars is opening in London, the first international branch of its accelerator program thanks to a partnership with Springboard. The TechStars London program is open to any company, regardless of where they’re based. Submissions open in March so keep an eye on the application page here.

The program runs in London from July 2nd to September 27th. CEO David Cohen, Andy Sack, Brad Feld, and Jon Bradford will all be on scene along with the support of over 80 mentors. You can apply from March 16th through May 5th. Accepted startups will receive $118,000 in funding as well as access to APIs like Twilio, SendGrid, Google, Rackspace and many others.

The decision to team up was inspired by TechStars CEO David Cohen‘s meetings with serial entrepreneur and Springboard CEO Jon Bradford. David frequently met with Jon in London to talk about mentorship for early stage startups and the philosophy of “giving back” to the community.

We’re happy to support new startups and give them the resources they need to grow. The Twilio Startup Program offers new startups funding, access to the Twilio API and promotional support to get up and running. To apply visit our Startup page here. We accept applications on a rolling basis.

Good luck to all who apply for TechStars:London. We can’t wait to see what you build!
