Braze Cloud Mode: Ecommerce Events Support
Customers using the Braze Cloud Mode destination will gain access to Ecommerce Recommended Events through this major upgrade.
We are adding two new actions to the Braze cloud mode destination to support new E-commerce Recommended Events in this integration:
- Ecommerce Event (multi product)
- Ecommerce Event (single product)
Supporting these events provide a more robust and structured approach to tracking e-commerce interactions, purchases, and customer behavior in Braze.Note- The Braze Cloud Mode destination is already in GA, but the new ecommerce actions and presets are labelled with (beta).

Classic Journeys is heading to end-of-life in 2027 to make way for the new Journeys
We’re preparing to say goodbye to classic Journeys in Q2 2027 as we focus on bringing you even more possibilities with the new Journeys experience. Starting June 25, 2026, you won’t be able to create or edit classic Journeys, but existing campaigns will keep running until end-of-life in Q2 2027.
The new Journeys is all about giving you access to more powerful tools to make reaching your audience even more effective. Here’s just a sample of what you can expect:
React to customer moments in real time: Event-Triggered Journeys let you respond instantly to actions like cart abandonment, new signups, or onboarding milestones. You'll create timely, relevant experiences that drive results.
Personalize with richer context: Pull in detailed data from your data warehouse, including loyalty status, purchase history, and cart contents, to make every message feel tailored to each customer's unique journey.
Build with an intuitive, powerful builder: We've completely redesigned the interface to make mapping, analyzing, and optimizing your campaigns more straightforward and efficient.

Update to handling of Segment profiles that exceed identifier limits
Segment is changing how we process incoming data for profiles that exceed their configured identifier cardinality limits.
Previously, profiles that surpassed an identifier limit (for example, more than 5 emails per profile) were marked as frozen and all subsequent data for those profiles—including events and traits—was dropped.
Starting in October 2025, Segment will continue to drop identifiers for types that have already exceeded their configured limit, but will resume accepting event and trait data, as well as new identifiers that remain within their limit. This change helps ensure that profiles that were previously paused due to limit violations continue to stay up-to-date with new behavioral and trait data.
Impact:
Audience sizes may increase or decrease depending on event or computed-trait membership criteria.
Some profiles may enter or exit active journey steps following this update.
No action is required on your part. If you have questions about how this change may affect your audiences or data flows, please contact friends@segment.com for assistance.

Twilio Engage Premier EOS
Twilio will end-of-sale (EOS) its Twilio Engage Premier product on June 10, 2024. Existing customers can continue to use Twilio Engage Premier. However, Twilio will not be offering new feature enhancements or releases going forward.
Customers may use Twilio SendGrid Marketing Campaigns for email or our preferred ISVs or other multichannel marketing providers of choice as they will be set up to help customers meet their multichannel marketing needs. No immediate action is required from customers at this time. Looking ahead, we will announce the end-of-life (EOL) later in the year, with the goal to sunset the Engage Premier edition by the end of 2025. We'll provide you more details as they become available to ensure you have ample time to plan and transition smoothly.

Twilio Signups for SendGrid and Segment
SendGrid and Segment are rolling out an updated signup experience that will route new customers to a shared Twilio signup page. This will provision a new SendGrid or Segment account in which a user will share a single identity and user settings will be managed on Twilio. No action is required for customers at this time.
This change allows all new signups across Twilio products to easily sign up for another product and have a seamless cross-product navigation experience.
