Building community-led crisis response

Responding to crises within Los Angeles' unhoused community takes more than a standard 911 dispatch. That is why Trek Medics and Tech Matters partnered with the City of LA on the CIRCLE program. Powered by Twilio Flex, mobile teams triage crises and deliver community-led mental health support to unhoused individuals. True builders know technology doesn't replace human connection. It can empower community responders to meet every crisis with the appropriate intervention.

Building the tech to support family caregivers

When a loved one is discharged from the hospital, the family is often the most critical resource for recovery. The nonprofit, Noora Health, recognizes this and trains family members to be confident caregivers. But, even the most innovative nonprofits often lack the technical resources to bring their ideas to life. Through a $100,000 Twilio.org Impact Fund grant, Noora Health funds the critical technical talent to scale their Remote Engagement Service across Southeast Asia. True builders know technology doesn't replace human care. It extends it, equipping families with the resources to ensure their loved ones recover safely at home.
