Today, we’re updating our iOS and Android Twilio Client SDKs. In addition to performance improvements, this release adds support for ARMv7s on iOS and x86 support for Android.

To upgrade, just download our most recent version of the SDK and integrate it into your app. There have been no changes to the API, so you won’t have to make changes to your app.

You can download the latest SDKs (version 1.1.1) here:

Twilio’s Client SDKs give you the tools to create the best native, in-app calling experiences. Enable your customers to make and receive calls from within your iOS or Android app using VOIP over the cellular data network or a WiFi connection. Increase customer engagement through an integrated voice and app experience that allows your customers to spend more time in the app – no need to jump out for a call.
