Restrictions	Most of International Phone Numbers have Voice capability only, no SMS. Austrian local numbers are often assigned in ranges. Some ranges may be assigned as a set of separate numbers, and some only as master numbers with extensions. Please check which set up you have before porting to make sure you know how many actual numbers you have. Typically, conditions of service contracts limit porting opportunities. Check with your current provider if there are any timeframe restrictions on porting. It does occasionally happen, that the service contract does not allow immediate porting.

Year-End Holiday Porting Schedule Please note the upcoming holiday completion pause schedules for number porting: · International porting (excluding US, Canada & Puerto Rico): Pause from December 19, 2026 – January 4, 2027; completions resume January 5, 2027. · US, Canada & Puerto Rico porting: Completions pause only on banking holidays (December 24, December 25, 2026, and January 1, 2027). The Twilio Porting Team will continue accepting and processing new requests throughout this period.
