We’ve banded together with other API companies to host the first ever API Hackday today.  We started out this morning with quick back-to-back presentations from all the API companies who organized and our generous sponsors, and then moved straight into hacking on project.

Big thank yous to the organizers SimpleGeoHerokuMasheryApigee, and SendGrid and to our sponsors Amazon Web Services and Media Temple.

Special thanks to those who flew in from out of town to be here, including the Zappos API team and the Kynetx team, who are hacking away on their projects right now.

If you’re reading this and are in the Bay Area, feel free to drop by our office at 501 Folsom St anytime between now and 8pm for beer, and you can check out the hacks people are working on firsthand.  Presentations will begin at 6:30pm.

Pictures!

Here’s a sampling of what’s going on at Twilio HQ right now.  The deadline for submitting projects is 6pm, and then we’ll have demos from all the teams.
