What’s New?

Confidently monitor your entire data pipeline

Our new Alerting Hub dashboards lets you quickly monitor the state of your workspace in a single place. Alerting Hub lets you configure, view, and manage every alert in one place, making it simpler than ever to monitor the health of your data pipeline so you can trust it to run reliably.

Empower anyone to collect and troubleshoot user signals

Two major enhancements transform the way you define, then track events. Auto-Instrumentation lets you add SDKs to your app to collect user activity, then use those signals to create new events in Segment. This enables users of any role to take control of the events they collect in Segment without requiring developer resources, and reduces event instrumentation time from months to days. 

In addition to giving you greater control over which events to collect, we’ve also added finer-grained visibility into what happens as they flow through Segment. If an event fails to deliver, Failed Delivery Logs provide complete access details for that event ID so you can quickly troubleshoot exactly what happened to that particular event.

We’ve also added new enhancements to our alerting capabilities. Segment now supports sending alert notification payloads to PagerDuty in addition to email and Slack.

Build accurate profiles with flexible APIs

For builders who demand access and flexibility, we’re delivering new APIs to help you customize, automate, and extend Segment’s data foundation. The Profiles API is a new API endpoint that allows you to update and delete identifiers, or mask PII to meet compliance, all with version control and auditability. We’ve simplified repairing identifiers so you can produce more accurate profiles and reduce the time spent fixing data.

Give marketers the power to activate reliable audiences

Our new APIs and observability features are designed to enable you to create a reliable, evergreen infrastructure that enables marketers to self-serve their own data. 

Delivery Overview for Engage is a step-by-step dashboard that tracks Audience, Trait, and Journey syncs to streaming destinations, giving marketing and data teams alike the confidence in the data they activate in downstream destinations. Enhanced Alerting for Audiences add three new triggers that makes it easier to monitor the performance of audiences, sending you notifications whenever Audience computes succeed or fail, deliveries fall below a specified threshold, or Audience size unexpectedly fluctuates.

Audience & Destination Configuration APIs enhance the audience management experience with a more robust audience creation workflow that includes programmatic audience creation, previews, new destination configuration, improved version control, and permissions. 

Get accurate, actionable insights across calls and emails

Having trustworthy, reliable data helps you activate even better customer experiences across all of your communications channels. With the Linked Profiles API, you can now programmatically query Profiles, including the entities and entity relationships in the Data Graph. This allows you to leverage accurate profiles with enriched data from the warehouse to enhance in-session and IVR experiences across Twilio products.

For Voice, the stakes are even higher because every call is an opportunity to build trust or lose it. Trust & Engagement Insights help you make every conversation count by revealing exactly what drives successful connections or causes missed opportunities. See when and why calls get answered, uncover patterns in customer behavior, and identify trends that can raise your answer rates. With built-in ROI tools for trust features like Branded Calling, you gain clear visibility into what is working and where to focus next, turning every investment in trusted interactions into measurable results.
