We take the security and privacy of our developers seriously.
To maintain the trust you place in us, Twilio publishes annual Transparency Reports detailing government data requests. These reports provide full visibility into the total volume of government information requests we receive, how we respond to them, and how often we notify affected users.
Additionally, you can review select National Security Letters that Twilio has received and obtained permission to publish.
All information requests must follow our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
Twilio’s Privacy Policy compels us to notify our customer of requests unless explicitly prohibited from doing so by law. Agencies requesting confidentiality must cite the specific legal authority prohibiting this notification. If a request does not legally prohibit disclosure and the agency wishes to maintain confidentiality, the agency must either explicitly withdraw the request or obtain a non-disclosure order.
