Advisory Services Package: Implementation Certification

Customer’s purchase of the Implementation Certification under the applicable Order Form is subject to the terms set forth below and the terms of the Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Implementation Certification will not be considered a Course under the Agreement.
1. Implementation Certification Fees. Except as otherwise set forth in the applicable Order Form, the fees for the Implementation Certification set forth in the applicable Order Form are non-refundable.
2. Implementation Certification Features. Customer’s purchase of the Implementation Certification under the applicable Order Form includes the following:
(a) Self-Paced Training. Self-paced training content will be available to an examinee, which provides an overview of the requirements for the Implementation Certification, including required study topics and the process of taking the Implementation Certification examination and the post-Implementation Certification examination expert configuration validation. Self-paced training is in addition to any separately purchased instructor-led training.
(b) Office Hours. Twilio will host a minimum of one (1) office hour session each calendar month, where questions may be asked regarding the operation of Twilio Segment’s Customer Data Platform, any content that is covered in the self-placed training and any separately purchased instructor led training, or the Implementation Certification examination. Twilio may cancel an office hour session if an examinee does not register for it ahead of time. Office hour sessions are not available to an examinee after such examinee takes the Implementation Certification examination.
(c) Implementation Expert Configuration Validation. Upon passing the Implementation Certification examination, a Twilio Solutions Architect (or equivalent) will validate that an examinee has configured all aspects of Twilio Segment’s Customer Data Platform correctly based on the self-placed training.
(d) Implementation Certification Examination and Achievement Certification. Each Seat of Implementation Certification that is purchased under the applicable Order Form comes with one (1) opportunity to take the Implementation Certification examination. The requirement to pass the Implementation Certification examination is answering at least eighty percent (80%) of the questions correctly (“Passing Score”) in order for an examinee to obtain a certification of achievement (“Achievement Certification”). An Achievement Certification indicates that an examinee has the sufficient skill and knowledge to implement Twilio Segment’s Customer Data Platform. The Implementation Certification examination must be taken within one (1) year from the date of last signature on the applicable Order Form. An examinee will forfeit its ability to take the Implementation Certification examination after this time period and will not receive any refunds or credits in connection therewith. If an examinee does not achieve a Passing Score on the Implementation Certification examination, Customer must purchase another Implementation Certification Seat via an order form in order for such examinee to take the Implementation Certification examination again. Twilio is not responsible for an examinee’s failure to achieve a Passing Score on the Implementation Certification examination. Customer will not receive any refunds or credits in connection with an examinee’s failure to achieve a Passing Score on the Implementation Certification examination.
3. Achievement Certification Conditions. An Achievement Certification does not expire. An examinee that obtains an Achievement Certification may display or otherwise reference such Achievement Certification on resumes, professional networking sites (e.g., LinkedIn), professional job board search engine profiles (e.g., Indeed.com), or other professional job profiles. Twilio reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revoke an Achievement Certification obtained by an examinee for any reason at any time. Customer will ensure its examinees remove all displays of and references to any Achievement Certifications upon Twilio’s written request.
4. Seat Sharing Restrictions. Each Seat that Customer purchases under the applicable Order Form is equal to one (1) examinee that will receive the features set forth in Section 1 (Implementation Certification Features) of these terms. Customer is prohibited from sharing the features set forth in Section 1 (Implementation Certification Features) of these terms across multiple examinees, unless Customer has purchased a Seat under the applicable Order Form for each of its examinees that should receive such features.
5. Twilio IP. All training, documentation, content, and materials provided by Twilio to Customer or an examinee in connection with the Implementation Certification are considered Twilio IP.
